Privacy Policy

The short version: the names, rosters, and lists you type into a SpinPicker tool stay in your browser, we don't ask for an account, and this page explains cookies and advertising in plain English.

What stays in your browser

Every tool on SpinPicker runs client side. The entries you type into the spinner wheel, the roster you split into teams, the range for the number generator, and every other input are processed on your own device and are never uploaded to a SpinPicker server. If you save a wheel, it is stored in your browser's local storage on your device, not in a database we control.

Cookies and similar technology

SpinPicker may use cookies or similar local storage for basic site functionality, to understand how the site is used, and, when enabled, to run advertising. If we turn on analytics, it is used to see which tools are helpful and where pages are slow, not to build a personal profile.

Advertising

SpinPicker is free to use, and it may show ads from third-party advertising partners, such as Google, to help keep it that way. When ads are running, those partners can set cookies or use similar technology on your device to serve ads and measure how they perform. If you are visiting from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you will be asked for your consent before any personalized ads are shown, and you can change that choice at any time from the consent banner or your browser's privacy settings.

What we don't do

We do not sell your personal information. No account is required to use any tool, and we don't ask for personal details anywhere except the contact form, described below.

Contact form

If you use the contact page, we collect the name, email address, and message you submit so we can reply to you. That information is kept only as long as needed to handle your message, and is never published or sold.

Children's privacy

SpinPicker is a general audience tool site and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site changes, for example when advertising or analytics is switched on. Check back here if you want the latest version, and we'll update the date below whenever it changes.
