Spin the wheel and pick a winner
Type your entries, give the wheel a spin, and let chance make the call. Remove the winner and spin again, shuffle the order, save your wheel, or embed it on your own site.
Fair by design: each spin draws from your browser’s cryptographic random number generator, giving every entry an equal 1-in-8 chance. No server is involved.
One entry per line. 8 entries on the wheel.
Keep a list per class or per group. They stay in this browser only, and nothing is uploaded.
The entries travel in the part of the link after the #, which browsers never send to a server. Nobody, including us, can read a shared wheel from a log.
Please keep the attribution link on the last line. It is the only thing we ask in return, and it is what pays for the wheel being free.

- When the wheel stops, the pointer at the top marks the winner and a modal pops up.
- Choose to keep the winner or remove them and spin again for the next pick.
Where a spinner wheel comes in handy
A wheel turns any decision into a tiny game show. Teachers use it to call on students without playing favorites. Streamers spin to choose the next game, a giveaway winner, or a dare from chat. Managers run a fair standup order. Families settle who does the dishes and what to eat for dinner. Because every slice has the same odds, nobody can argue the result was rigged.
Fair and private by design
Every spin picks a slice at random, and each entry gets an equal share of the wheel, so the odds are the same for a name at the top and a name at the bottom. Nothing you type is uploaded. The wheel runs entirely in your browser, and if you save it, the entries stay on your own device. No account needed, and spinning never touches a server.
Embed the wheel on your site
Want your visitors to spin too? Copy the iframe embed code beneath the wheel and paste it into any page or blog post. The embed links back to SpinPicker and works on phones, tablets, and desktops. See the full guide to embedding a wheel for styling tips.
Frequently asked questions
Is the spinner wheel actually random?
Yes. Each spin lands on a randomly chosen slice with equal odds for every entry, so the result is fair no matter where a name sits on the wheel.
Can I save my wheel?
Yes. Your entries are saved to your own browser with one click, so the same wheel is ready the next time you open the page on that device.
How many entries can the wheel hold?
You can add dozens of entries. Labels shrink to fit, and very long names are trimmed on the wheel while the full text stays in your list.
Is SpinPicker free?
Completely free, with no sign up. Every tool on the site runs in your browser at no cost.
