Random Exercise Wheel

Spin for a random bodyweight exercise to work into your routine. A playful way to shake up a home workout.

Fair by design: each spin draws from your browser’s cryptographic random number generator, giving every entry an equal 1-in-12 chance. No server is involved.

One entry per line. 12 entries on the wheel.

The entries travel in the part of the link after the #, which browsers never send to a server. Nobody, including us, can read a shared wheel from a log.

About the Random Exercise Wheel

This wheel comes pre filled and ready to spin. Give it a whirl as is, or edit the entries in the box to make it your own. Every slice has equal odds, so the result is fair each and every time. When the wheel stops, the pointer at the top marks the winning slice.

Nothing you spin is uploaded anywhere. The Random Exercise Wheel runs entirely in your browser, and you can save your edits to your own device. When you want your visitors to spin the same wheel, copy the embed code under the wheel and drop it onto your page.

A random exercise wheel adds a bit of play to a workout and helps you break out of doing the same moves in the same order every time. Spin it, do the exercise it lands on, and spin again for the next one. You can set a fixed rep count for each round, or pair the wheel with a timer and do the move for thirty seconds before spinning fresh. The starter list is all bodyweight, so it needs no equipment and works in a living room, a hotel, or a park. Trainers and gym teachers can put it on a screen to run a fun circuit for a group, letting the wheel decide the next station so nobody feels singled out. Edit the entries to match your goals, adding core work, mobility drills, or your own favorites. As always, listen to your body and skip anything that does not feel right for you.

The odds on this wheel

There are 12 slices, all the same size, so a given slice wins one spin with probability 1 ÷ 12 = 8.3%. Every spin is independent of the one before it, which means no result is ever due: after ten spins without a particular slice, the chance on the eleventh is still 8.3%.

Across several spins the maths follows the complement rule. The chance of a given slice coming up at least oncein ten spins is 1 − (1 − 1/12)10 = 58.1%. Edit the entry list and every figure here recomputes, because they are derived from the wheel rather than written down beside it.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need any equipment for these exercises?

No. All 12 moves, from push-ups and squats to planks and burpees, are bodyweight only, so you can do them anywhere without a gym.

How can I build a full workout from the exercise wheel?

Spin several times and do each result for a set number of reps or a fixed time. Stringing the picks together gives you a random circuit.

Can I add my own moves or make it harder?

Yes. Edit the list beneath the wheel to include weighted lifts, stretches, or higher-rep targets that match your fitness level.
