When to spin the Zodiac Star Sign Wheel
There are twelve zodiac signs, one for each slice of this wheel, and it lands on a random one every spin. It is a light hearted tool rather than a serious forecast. Each of the 12 slices wins a spin 1 in 12, or 8.3%. That sounds rare, yet repeats arrive early: by spin 5 the chance that some entry has already come up twice passes 50%, the same maths as the birthday problem. Landing on every one of them, from Aries to Pisces, takes about 37 spins on average, which is why a no-repeat round is the quicker way to work through the whole list.
Tips for spinning it in front of a group
- With 12 slices of 30° each, even the longest label, "Sagittarius", prints large enough to read from the back of a room. Press Present for a full-screen wheel: Space or Enter spins and Esc returns to the page.
- Tick Remove after pick and each winner leaves the wheel: 12 spins work through all 12 entries with none drawn twice, and Reset round puts Aries and the rest back.
- To make one outcome more common, write "Aries *2": its slice grows to 15.4% of the wheel and every other slice shrinks to 7.7%.
