Zodiac Star Sign Wheel
Spin to pick one of the twelve zodiac signs. Fun for astrology prompts, party games, and choosing a horoscope to read.
Fair by design: each spin draws from your browser’s cryptographic random number generator, giving every entry an equal 1-in-12 chance. No server is involved.
One entry per line. 12 entries on the wheel.
The entries travel in the part of the link after the #, which browsers never send to a server. Nobody, including us, can read a shared wheel from a log.
Please keep the attribution link on the last line. It is the only thing we ask in return, and it is what pays for the wheel being free.

About the Zodiac Star Sign Wheel
This wheel comes pre filled and ready to spin. Give it a whirl as is, or edit the entries in the box to make it your own. Every slice has equal odds, so the result is fair each and every time. When the wheel stops, the pointer at the top marks the winning slice.
Nothing you spin is uploaded anywhere. The Zodiac Star Sign Wheel runs entirely in your browser, and you can save your edits to your own device. When you want your visitors to spin the same wheel, copy the embed code under the wheel and drop it onto your page.
There are twelve zodiac signs, one for each slice of this wheel, and it lands on a random one every spin. It is a light hearted tool rather than a serious forecast. Use it to pick which horoscope to read aloud, to choose a sign as a writing or drawing prompt, or to assign a playful theme to each guest at a party. Astrology fans sometimes use it as an icebreaker by spinning and then asking whoever has that sign to share a trait they relate to. Because every sign has the same one in twelve odds, the wheel stays fair and does not favor any element or season. Feel free to edit the entries if you would rather group by fire, earth, air, and water signs, or narrow the list down to just the people in your group.
The odds on this wheel
There are 12 slices, all the same size, so a given slice wins one spin with probability 1 ÷ 12 = 8.3%. Every spin is independent of the one before it, which means no result is ever due: after ten spins without a particular slice, the chance on the eleventh is still 8.3%.
Across several spins the maths follows the complement rule. The chance of a given slice coming up at least oncein ten spins is 1 − (1 − 1/12)10 = 58.1%. Edit the entry list and every figure here recomputes, because they are derived from the wheel rather than written down beside it.
Frequently asked questions
Which signs are on the Zodiac Star Sign Wheel?
It carries all twelve western zodiac signs, from Aries and Taurus right through to Aquarius and Pisces. Each sign takes an equal slice, giving a 1 in 12 chance on every spin.
How might people use a random zodiac sign picker?
It is fun for party games, writing prompts, picking a sign of the day for horoscope-style posts, or assigning signs to story characters. The wheel simply lands on one of the twelve at random with no bias toward any sign.
Can I limit the wheel to just the fire signs or my friends' signs?
Yes, remove the signs you do not want from the list under the wheel so only your chosen ones remain, such as Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius. The odds then divide evenly across whatever signs are left.
