When to spin the Days of the Week Wheel
Letting a wheel pick a day removes the quiet negotiation that stalls so many plans. Households spin it to assign chore days or decide when the weekly movie night lands. If your plans only allow certain days, delete the impossible ones in the entries box and spin across what is left. However it lands, the decision is made in seconds and nobody had to be the one who chose.

Each of the 7 slices wins a spin 1 in 7, or 14.3%. That sounds rare, yet repeats arrive early: by spin 4 the chance that some entry has already come up twice passes 50%, the same maths as the birthday problem. Landing on every one of them, from Monday to Sunday, takes about 18 spins on average, which is why a no-repeat round is the quicker way to work through the whole list.
Tips for spinning it in front of a group
- With 7 slices of 51.4° each, even the longest label, "Wednesday", prints large enough to read from the back of a room. Press Present for a full-screen wheel: Space or Enter spins and Esc returns to the page.
- Tick Remove after pick and each winner leaves the wheel: 7 spins work through all 7 entries with none drawn twice, and Reset round puts Monday and the rest back.
